Mod keybinds organized by frequency of use
This guide covers only the mod-specific keybinds in ForgiaCraftX. Standard Minecraft controls (WASD, E for inventory, etc.) are not included.

Essential
Roughly Enough Items (REI)

Recipe viewer - your encyclopedia for all crafting recipes and item uses in the modpack.

| U | Show Usage | Hover over any item and press U to see what it's used for |
| A | Favorite Item | Add item to favorites for quick access |

Tip: Works in any GUI with items. Essential for learning modded recipes!

Simple Voice Chat

Shows information about blocks and entities you're looking at.

Inventory Management
Fine-tune your inventory screen positions.

AMECS Modifier System
This modpack uses AMECS to enable modifier key combinations.
How to use modifiers:
- Shift+Key - Hold Shift then press the key
- Ctrl+Key - Hold Ctrl then press the key
- Alt+Key - Hold Alt then press the key
Examples:
B= Open BackpackShift+B= Create WaypointCtrl+R= Reload ShadersShift+R= Route Overlay
How to change keybinds:
- Options → Controls
- Click the keybind to change
- Hold modifier (Shift/Ctrl/Alt) + press key
- Or press a key without modifier for simple binding

Tips & Tricks
For New Players
Learn REI first - Press
Ron any item to learn its recipe. This is your best friend in modded Minecraft!Set waypoints early - Use
Shift+Bto mark your base, villages, and important locationsVoice chat is proximity-based - The closer you are to someone, the louder they sound
For Create Users
- Hold W while holding a Create item to see animated guides (Ponder)
- Left Alt gives quick access to wrenches and Create tools
- Use goggles (from Create) to see stress/speed info on contraptions
Performance Tips
- Toggle shaders with
Ctrl+Kif you need better FPS - Hide the minimap with
Mduring intense moments - Close the REI panel with
Ctrl+Ofor a cleaner screen
Context-Dependent Keybinds
Some keys won't conflict because they only work in specific situations:
- C: Pitch Mode (only with cannons) vs. Chat Position (only in fullscreen map)
- H: Hide Voice Icons (general) vs. Disable Buttons (only in fullscreen map)
- Left Alt: All Create mod features work together contextually
